Touring the Islands

I'm enjoying the beautiful islands of Hawaii and the island called Fanning Island in the Kiribas.

Honolulu, Hawaii

I was extremely lucky to have one of my best friends, Jon Butler, working in Hawaii for a couple weeks. We were able to spend the day together while the ship was in port.

We were able to eat, take a drive around the beaches and even take a tour of the ship. I convinced him to come for a cruise with his wife.

 
 Sunrise in Denmark

This beautiful sunrise was what we saw coming back from a night out in Copenhagen.

The Little Mermaid is a famous landmark here in the city because of the famous story by Hans Christian Anderson who hails from Copenhagen.
 

Sky Divers in Oahu

What a blast! John (stage manager), Terry (Sound Technician), Alexis (dancer/magic assistant), and me.

We all did tandem jumps from 14,000 feet up and saw the most beautiful island view you can get of the water and mountains. Plus, the thrill of throwing yourself out of a plane and falling at 182 miles per hour.


Charles & Bob Cates in Russia

This is me and Bob Cates, a juggler I met on Holland America years ago. It was a nice surprise to be working together on another ship.

I'm six foot, but Bob has quite a few inches on me...so I'm on my toes to match up to his height. We had a great day checking out the sights in the city.
