These are a few new pieces I've
created that are "in the works" for the show. Some are
beginning and some are just about ready to hit the stage.
The Hokey Polka
A comedy illusion performed to a Weird Al Yankovic polka.
The pretty fraulein is placed in a wine barrel and ends up in a beer barrel
in a magical penetration through steel bars and a one-inch hole.
And, yes, we dance a polka! |

|
Voo Doo Dali
A self portrait becomes the victim of comic antics when a Salvador
Dali voo doo
doll is burned, pierced, and more. Melting watches, levitating
objects, and dripping paint are all part of this cool new
routine. |
 |
Psychic Socks (Now a 'highlight' in the show)
Charles' socks become a comedy prediction illusion when three members
of the audience choose a colored sock from a clothesline and the match
magically falls from the line. |
 |
Keyhole Appearance
The new way Charles will enter the stage for the first time is inside
an enormous keyhole that until the last moment is completely empty. |
 |
Fosse Billiard Ball Routine
Charles performs a mulitplying ball routine done in classic Fosse dance style with
Derby hat and white gloves. Another combination of dance and magic.
Dancing Butterflies
Tissue paper butterflies and bright fireflies float and dance
around a weeping willow tree. They get caught in a jar and
burst out to fly all around. |

|
Paintball Bullet Catch
BACH, Charles Bach. A 007 inspired routine where an audience member fires a paint ball gun directly at Charles
and he will catch the paintball in his mouth. Danger, excitement, and magic! |

|
Flying Kite
This routine has Charles putting all the pieces of a kite together with
vanishes, appearances, changes of color, and much more to create a kite
that actually flies on-stage. |
 |
Wind Chimes Prediction
An illusion performed with only sound. Two sets of hand-tuned chimes are
used to create a piece of original music. We quickly learn that Charles
knew all along the piece of music that an audience member was
going to create. |
 |
Finale Flying Kite
Charles grabs the tail of a huge version of his opening kite and flies off...only to appear somewhere
else shortly after.
Car Production
Charles sets the stage for a road trip with a scenic backdrop and miniature
road for a small, remote-controlled VW Bug. He makes the small car grow
into a large one in seconds on a fully lit stage with no black curtain....and
drives away.
